Rules
and Regulations:
- Karts
shall be a “Champ car type” with full cage and body. Wheelbase 42”
minimum, 45” maximum.
- Ages:
12 years old and older.
- Kart
and safety equipment must have passed safety inspection before taking to
the track. We reserve the right to disallow any kart from competition if
officials determine it is not safe to race.
- Kart
and driver must weigh 410 lbs. after all heat and feature races.
- Must
run a Flathead “Unrestricted” or Animal .312 3-hole Gold Plate
- Must
run a disc or drum style clutch.
No axle clutches.
- Must
run Burris tries 15A, 15B, SS44, or SS 55 compounds only, compound stamp
must be readable.
Any size.
No grooving of tires allowed.
- May
run any gear ratio.
- Must
abide by track safety rules; including safety equipment required.
Furthermore, all other published track rules and regulations will
be enforced in this class.
- No
performance enhancing fuel or oil additives are allowed.
- Karts
must have a 5-point racing harness securely mounted to the frame.
- Fire
resistant full racing suits are highly recommended.
